Overview
Launched in 1993 as the first completely online school, Jones International University® offers career education opportunities in Education, Business Administration and Business Communications. The JIU® School of Education offers online master's degree study with special focus in different areas of education. Through the School of Business, students can earn certificate, bachelor, or master's degrees with specialized emphasis in an area of business administration or communication without ever entering a classroom.
Student Appeal
Designed to bring higher education to the masses, JIU utilizes online technology to provide convenient and flexible learning and career enhancement opportunities to busy working adults and students who might otherwise never get the chance to experience higher education. JIU molds students into qualified professionals through tailored academic advising and individual attention. Online tools and an extensive library offer additional resources, which are accessible to students from the comforts of home, a coffee house, a local library or other Internet-accessible locations.

Financial
Financial aid is available to qualified students and may include federal subsidized and unsubsidized loans and grants along with private educational loans and scholarships to those who qualify. JIU also offers a variety of payment plans and advice through an Academic Counselor. Jones International University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.
